Pivot Company

Pivot is a company that was created in collaboration with former classmates. Pivot markets a self-care box that improves mental health. Our mission was to provide comfort. We wanted our product to be unisex and to appeal to any age or demographic. Pivot is “here for you” even at your most vulnerable times. In this campaign, we created a marketing strategy, packaging, brand guidelines, and website.

Pivot Packaging

Our package is based off the 5 senses, sight, smell, taste, sound, and touch. Sensory items are great for mental health and provide variety. We did not want the package to intimidate the average consumer. Together our group was able to combine ideas until we created the pivoting box mechanism (window slider). We kept on brand, selecting a round box and also applied braille for the visually impaired.

Pre-Launch Event

Pivot’s prelaunch event, ‘Let’s Chalk It Out’ took place at CAMH on October 10 (World Mental Health Day). Guests could de-stress and express themselves through sidewalk chalk art. Creations were shared at #LetsChalkItOut on social media. Brand Ambassador Ross Gellar (from Friends) would kick off the event and give out Pivot raffle prizes. The company truck would be used to sell and promote our merchandise.
