Market Craft Distillery
Market Craft Distillery- My fifth semester mock firm, Oddity, was assigned Market Craft Distillery as a client. After submitting a brand proposal, we proceeded to create a brand identity. We revamped the packaging with holographic art, prompting the tag line “double your vision”. This is superior to their competitors who use mainly static labels. In addition, the in-store display captures quick interest from its irregular shape. A mock website and Instagram contest followed.
Outcome
The three spirits, whisky, vodka, and gin, were represented by different eyeballs. Dilating (Radiant Green), bloodshot (Bloodshot), and hypnotic (Trance) eyes were patternized in bright reflective colours. They would create an illusion, depending on how the light refracts. Customers could marvel in its everchanging state and share it on their social media. The imagery and slogan also plays on the idea of being too intoxicated to see correctly.
